Anmol Pinky cleared in 2018 CTD narcotics case in Karachi
In the Anmol Pinky drug case, a Karachi court on Friday cleared her in a 2018 Counter-Terrorism Department narcotics matter for lack of evidence and ordered release if she is not wanted elsewhere.
A Karachi court on Friday acquitted Anmol, alias Pinky, in a CTD narcotics case registered in 2018.
The court cited lack of evidence and ordered her immediate release if she is not wanted in another case.
She had already been acquitted in four other cases before this decision.
In August, a Karachi Additional District and Sessions Court (South) cleared her in three Gizri police drug cases from 2020, 2021 and 2022.
Defence counsel said co-accused Ali and Fahmida were acquitted in 2024, weakening a case built on their alleged statements.
