Asad Umar speech at MediaVerse 26 urges students to adapt
Speaking at the University of Karachi on Tuesday, the former finance minister told young people to treat uncertainty as an opening, not an obstacle, and to use AI well.
Former finance minister Asad Umar told students at MediaVerse 26, held at the University of Karachi, to learn to navigate chaos rather than fear it.
He said everyone should be able to use AI to their advantage, though not everyone needs to design AI programmes.
He urged students to look beyond financial success and think about what they genuinely want from life.
Panellists Saife Hasan, Alyy Khan and Osamah Nasir gave views on AI, hard work, setbacks and avoiding excuses.
MediaVerse 26 was the third edition of the student-led event, organised by the Department of Mass Communication.
