LHC posts ATC judge as OSD after Azhar court order

The Lahore High Court has posted District and Sessions Judge Sardar Muhammad Akram Khan as an officer on special duty days after he refused to extend Hammad Azhar’s physical custody.

The Lahore High Court made ATC administrative judge Sardar Muhammad Akram Khan an officer on special duty (OSD).

An Oct 28 LHC notification ordered him to relinquish charge by Oct 29; he stays OSD at Lahore district courts with sessions-judge benefits.

He had taken charge of ATC No 4 on Aug 31 and earlier served as a banking court judge in Sialkot.
