Tarar says the fight against terrorism will go on at full force
Attaullah Tarar said people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa want terrorism ended permanently, and that Pakistan would press the campaign with full force.
Attaullah Tarar said on Monday the fight against terrorism would go on with full force.
He welcomed a positive change in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and said people there want terrorism ended permanently.
Citing UN and independent assessments, he put TTP fighters in Afghanistan at more than 6,000, and overall terrorist presence above 20,000.
He said Pakistan had lost more than 90,000 lives and more than $100 billion in the war on terrorism.
Recent talks with the interim Afghan government had failed, he said, after Pakistan hosted more than four million Afghan refugees for over four decades.
