Balochistan Assembly split over the KP emergency, ARY says
ARY News said opposition leader Dr Abdul Malik Baloch condemned the KP emergency, while government members Mir Zahoor Buledi, Mir Saleem Khosa and Prince Agha Umar Ahmedzai defended it.
ARY News reported contrasting views in the Balochistan Assembly on the emergency and governor’s rule already imposed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Opposition leader Dr Abdul Malik Baloch condemned the move and asked for the elected KP government to be restored.
Government members Mir Zahoor Buledi, Mir Saleem Khosa and Prince Agha Umar Ahmedzai defended the decision.
Buledi said six districts in KP had become no-go areas. ARY did not report a vote.
