BDS urges fans to cancel Disney+ until Sabra is dropped
In a Friday Instagram post, the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions movement said Marvel’s revival of the Sabra character means Disney remains a target until she is dropped.
BDS says Marvel Studios and parent company Disney remain on its boycott list.
The reminder followed Marvel’s use of the Sabra character in Captain America: Brave New World.
BDS called Sabra “racist” and “anti-Palestinian”, citing her 1980s Mossad-agent comic origins.
The group urged fans to stop buying Marvel merchandise and cancel Disney+ until Sabra is dropped.
BDS claimed boycotts of Brave New World and Snow White hurt those films commercially.
