The British Council and P@SHA staged a Gilgit roundtable to expand digital employment opportunities in Gilgit Baltistan for graduates, young people and women.
The British Council and the Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA) organised a roundtable in Gilgit on digital jobs and graduate employability.
The meeting prioritised women and young people in Gilgit-Baltistan and stronger ties between training and IT employers.
It was held at Serena Hotel Gilgit under the EU-funded Team Europe TVET Sector Support Programme.
Speakers included GB skills and IT officials, Karakoram International University’s acting vice chancellor, and P@SHA and industry representatives.
The wider programme is a multi-year EU effort jointly run by the British Council and GIZ to improve technical and vocational training.
