CDA frees 1,135 kanals in Sector E-12 for development
CDA recovers state land valued at about Rs1.3 trillion as anti-encroachment work frees acres near the PM House and reopens stalled sector projects.
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) says it recovered state land worth about Rs1.3 trillion in Islamabad through anti-encroachment operations.
About 600 acres near the Prime Minister’s House were recovered in the campaign, according to the authority.
In Sector E-12, 1,135 kanals were recovered, clearing the way for development work stalled for decades.
Illegal commercial structures on 116.8 kanals in Sector C-17 were demolished; five plazas on Murree Road in Malpur were vacated, with 108 kanals still targeted.
The CDA says surveys, revenue-record checks, ownership scrutiny and legal reviews guided the drive, and that residents welcomed the E-12 outlook.
