CM Milk Scheme: inquiry finds no fault after family falls ill
Rescue 1122 and police gave different counts of those affected in Bahawalnagar, while the education CEO said an inquiry found no quality problem with CM Milk Scheme milk.
Police said 11 members of one family were hospitalised in Khichiwala village, Bahawalnagar, after falling ill.
The family said the milk was supplied to students under the CM Milk Scheme at a government girls' primary school.
Rescue 1122 counted seven people ill, while the police report counted 11.
Education CEO Dr Attaur Rehman said an inquiry found no quality problem and that the cartons carried a January 12, 2027 expiry date.
The family says no education or health official has arranged testing of the milk, and no cause has been confirmed.
