NCCIA raids 35 locations in $126m US postal fraud probe
Investigators say 16 bank accounts, including those of relatives, were used, and the website at the centre of the case operated from August 2023 to September 2026.
NCCIA says a prime suspect, a 33-year-old from Khanewal, was arrested in Lahore.
US authorities accuse him of running a website that sold over five million counterfeit US postage labels, causing more than $126 million in losses to the US Postal Service.
The NCCIA says the website, LabelsBank.com, operated from August 2023 to September 2026, with stamps sold at around $2 each.
Investigators are tracing 16 bank accounts, seven of them held by the suspect and the rest by relatives.
Eight special teams conducted raids at 35 locations and questioned 47 people in Punjab, Islamabad and Sindh.
