ISPR chief: army adapting AI for drone, cyber threats
Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said the army is operationally ready to stop cross-border drones and is folding AI and other new tools into how it fights.
DG ISPR Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said Pakistan can intercept drones sent from Afghanistan or India.
He said Pakistani forces brought down dozens of sophisticated Indian drones in the previous conflict with India.
The army is adapting for drones, cyber operations and long-range munitions, and is incorporating artificial intelligence.
He alleged Afghan drone capability is not indigenous and blamed India as the main terror sponsor.
He declined to detail how AI, quantum or cyber tools are used, calling the army technology-savvy.
