Former Palantir product and commercial leaders Andy Elder and Arjun Mathur unveil Dream, an AI world-model platform for building design, backed by Andreessen Horowitz and already live on projects in Texas and California.
Former Palantir executives Andy Elder and Arjun Mathur have launched Dream with $17 million in seed funding led by Andreessen Horowitz.
The Dream AI startup trains world models on more than 100 million square feet of US building-permit data to automate design and engineering.
Founders say the product is already used on 10 active projects in Texas and California for concept designs and cost estimates.
Dream targets legacy architecture, engineering and construction tools such as Autodesk’s AutoCAD and Revit with what it calls structural cognition.
Other AI-focused AEC startups named by the founders include Motif, Snaptrude and Arcol.
