Election Commission says KP constituencies stay as in 2024
The commission said new districts and tehsils created by the provincial government did not alter any boundary, so the constituencies used in the 2024 general elections remain in place.
The ECP has re-described Khyber Pakhtunkhwa constituencies after the provincial government changed administrative units.
No constituency boundary has been redrawn, according to the commission.
Changes include new districts and tehsils, and changes to some existing tehsils.
The ECP said Section 22 of the Elections Act 2017 does not apply because no constituency was redrawn.
