ECP pilot to register 174,845 women voters by February 2027
ECP women voter registration in Kasur and Qambar Shahdadkot will run from December 2026 to February 2027, with door-to-door visits and NADRA mobile vans.
The Election Commission of Pakistan aims to register 174,845 women voters in a pilot covering Kasur (Punjab) and Qambar Shahdadkot (Sindh).
District targets are 115,689 women in Kasur and 59,156 in Qambar Shahdadkot.
Preparatory data collection is set for November 2026; registration runs from December 2026 to February 2027.
Outreach will use door-to-door visits, NADRA Mobile Registration Vans, and centres in government buildings.
The pilot is meant to cut the gender gap on electoral rolls and test a model for wider use.
