The Federal Constitutional Court on Wednesday turned down Bushra Bibi’s plea to suspend her sentence in the £190 million case.
Chief Justice Aminuddin Khan headed the two-member bench. Justice Ali Baqar Najafi sat with him.
An accountability court had already sentenced her to seven years and a Rs500,000 fine. Imran Khan was sentenced to 14 years and a Rs1 million fine in the same case.
The court told her lawyer, Salman Safdar, to file his points in writing. Dunya News reported that the petition was declared inadmissible.
