KP Advisory Council Members Named by Federal Government

The federal government has appointed 11 KP advisory council members, including Nigar Johar and Tariq Bajwa, following emergency enforcement.

The federal government issued Order No. 1/2026 under Articles 232 and 234 of the Constitution to run Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's administration.

An 11-member advisory council including Lt Gen (retd) Nigar Johar and Tariq Mahmood Pasha has been constituted to assist the KP Governor.

Sanaullah Advocate has been appointed as the new Advocate General for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

An Area Development Secretariat has been ordered for 12 designated districts to oversee security, governance, and development.
