Five killed, three injured in Dera Ismail Khan wedding firing
Armed men opened fire near a girls’ school in Malana after a wedding volleyball. DPO Ziauddin Ahmed named five dead and three injured, and police have registered a case.
Five people were killed and three injured on Tuesday when armed men fired on people going to a wedding in Malana, Dera Ismail Khan.
DPO Ziauddin Ahmed said it followed a personal and political dispute after a wedding volleyball, near a girls’ school, inside University police station limits.
The dead are Mohammad Shafiq, Mohammad Ajmal, Qudratullah, Umar Farooq and Arsalan. The injured are Saadullah, Qaiser and Fazl.
Police registered a case. Further details of the shooting were still being ascertained.
