24-karat gold rates in Pakistan hit Rs440,836 per tola

Gold rates in Pakistan climbed Rs900 on Tuesday to Rs440,836 per tola for 24-karat, while 10 grams rose to Rs377,945 and silver stayed at Rs6,532.

24-karat gold rose by Rs900 on Tuesday to Rs440,836 per tola, the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association said.

The 10-gram price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs771 to Rs377,945.

International gold gained $9 to $4,183 an ounce, the association said.

Silver was unchanged at Rs6,532 per tola.

Oil and the US dollar eased, with US inflation data due later in the week.
