Governor's rule rallies reach Haripur, Dir and Battagram
PML-N leaders and a former PPP candidate led processions in Haripur, Battagram and Timergara after emergency and governor's rule were imposed in the province.
PML-N leaders led a Monday rally in Haripur, from Chowk Sheranwala Gate to Siddique-i-Akbar Chowk, celebrating governor's rule and an emergency in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
PML-N workers also marched in Battagram, and former PPP candidate Advocate Alamzeb led a procession in Timergara Bazaar where sweets were distributed.
Speakers blamed PTI for weak governance, loans, flour shortages and a return of terrorism. Alamzeb said 680 terrorist attacks were reported from January to September this year.
Qazi Mohammad Asad Khan said an advisory council headed by Governor Faisal Karim Kundi would provide relief and help restore peace.
Billboards in Swabi called the day Youm-i-Nijat, but it is unconfirmed who installed them or who paid.
