Father's complaint sparks arrest in Gujar Khan abuse case

Local officers booked the suspect after a parent's complaint and say they plan to place him before a judge with what they call strong material.

Officers in Gujar Khan held a man after a father reported alleged abuse of his underage daughter.

A formal case was opened on that complaint before the detention.

ASP Syed Danial Hassan said the suspect will be produced in court with what he called solid material.

He said such crimes against women and children will draw a firm legal response.
