HEC ADP degree via annual, private mode not recognised

Only regular semester programmes of 64–72 credit hours qualify; the Commission bars new annual or private admissions and will not attest such degrees.

HEC says Associate Degree Programmes offered through the annual examination system or private mode will not be recognised.

No new admissions may be made in annual or private ADPs; such degrees will not be considered for attestation or equivalence.

A recognised ADP is four regular semesters over two years, with 64 to 72 credit hours.

Universities must stop offering or advertising annual or private ADPs and follow the Undergraduate Education Policy 2023 (Version 1.1).

Students should verify mode and recognition under the regular semester system before enrolling.
