Asia Web3 Alliance Japan president Hinza Asif has proposed a unified representative body for Pakistan’s digital-asset industry.
The call follows a multibillion-dollar cybersecurity breach involving Binance; she said any effect on Pakistani investors still needs independent verification.
She cited estimates of about 40 million crypto-linked accounts and $10–20 billion in digital-asset exposure, noting these figures are not officially verified as individual investors.
Pakistan ranked third in the 2025 Global Crypto Adoption Index compiled by Chainalysis, she said.
She welcomed the Pakistan Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (PVARA) and said an industry association would complement its oversight, not replace it.
