Janakpur Bolts lose Pakistan duo after PCB NOC clearance fails

Janakpur Bolts said PCB emails brought no clearance for the signed Pakistan pair, who sat out the opener; the club then signed two Bangladesh batters as replacements.

Iftikhar Ahmed and Hussain Shah returned home after the PCB did not grant NOCs for the NPL’s third edition.

Janakpur signed Saif Hassan and Parvez Hossain Emon of Bangladesh, who arrived in Nepal on Wednesday night.

A USD 25,000-per-player figure was said to have come via an agent; Khatiwada said the PCB did not demand it directly from the club.
