IHC suspends order rejecting FIR plea in Pims fire case
In the Pims fire case, Justice Soomro also sought the inquiry report, issued notices to the federal government and PMO, and set the next hearing for November 12.
The Islamabad High Court suspended a Justice of the Peace order that had dismissed a plea for an FIR over the Pims fire.
Justice Khadim Hussain Soomro directed authorities to file the full record and inquiry report.
Notices were issued to the federal government, the Prime Minister’s Office, health and civic agencies, police and the FIA.
The court said it could order an FIR if negligence is established in the deaths of 14 newborns.
Further proceedings were adjourned to November 12.
