Internet Down in Peshawar and Other KP Cities Sunday
Internet down in Peshawar and other KP cities on Sunday left residents and journalists without mobile data or Wi-Fi, NetBlocks and the BBC reported.
Mobile signals and internet were disrupted in Peshawar and other cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Sunday, TechJuice reported, citing the BBC and NetBlocks.
NetBlocks said its network data showed a major disruption to internet connectivity in parts of the province.
Users said mobile data and Wi-Fi both stopped; Wi-Fi was working again on Monday, and it is unclear whether mobile data has returned.
The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority and the interior ministry have not publicly explained the latest disruption.
Last Thursday, services stayed suspended across large parts of Peshawar during a PTI-led long march; a PTA official called that step a temporary security precaution.
