East Judicial Magistrate Gulraiz Memon granted Iqrarul Hassan bail on Rs200,000 surety in Karachi.
He was arrested by the NCCIA over alleged anti-state, false and defamatory social media posts under PECA.
His lawyer said the challan has been submitted and his electronic devices remain with authorities.
The NCCIA told the court no further investigation of Hassan is required, but a forensic report is still awaited.
An earlier bail plea was rejected on October 22; the sessions court later allowed a fresh plea after the challan.
