Ghalibaf hails US midterm wins as Americans' 'no to war'
Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said Wednesday that Democrats' midterm sweep showed Americans rejecting war with Iran, and warned Washington against ignoring that public message.
Iran's chief US negotiator Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said Wednesday Americans voted "NO TO WAR" in the midterms.
He linked the Democratic landslide that gave Democrats full control of Congress to anger over living costs, tariffs and the Iran war.
Ghalibaf posted that Iran endorses the message and warned the US government against betraying that public will.
The conflict, sparked by US-Israeli strikes on Iran in February, has been largely stalemated for months with sporadic fire.
