Iran vs Trump: Araghchi hits back at 'finish the job' threat
Iran vs Trump news today centres on Abbas Araghchi's reply on X, which followed Trump's public backing of Netanyahu before Israel's October 27 parliamentary election.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi answered Trump's threat to “finish the job” against Tehran, posting his reply on X.
Araghchi said Iran “emerged even stronger” the last time Washington wanted to finish the job, and warned that Iran has “unfinished jobs” too.
He accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of trying to drag the US into another war to avoid legal consequences in Israel.
Trump had strongly backed Netanyahu before Israel's October 27 parliamentary election and said Iran had been systematically weakened.
So far the exchange is verbal, with threats on both sides and no new military step reported.
