KP emergency is strictly against terrorism, Dar says
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar said the KP emergency and governor's rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa target terrorism, and residents should see a difference within weeks.
Ishaq Dar said the emergency and governor's rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are aimed at terrorism, not political victimisation.
He told an Islamabad conference that people should see a difference in the province in the weeks and months ahead.
He put Pakistan's losses in the war on terrorism at more than 90,000 lives and over $150 billion, above external debt of $130 billion.
He said Afghan authorities have yet to stop TTP sanctuaries across the border, despite steps Pakistan has taken with Kabul.
