Islamabad High Court presses PCL order in Wajahat Hussain case

The Islamabad High Court on Monday summoned the interior secretary, FIA DG and DG Immigration and Passports over non-compliance on the Passport Control List.
Justice Azam Khan is hearing contempt petitions after names were not removed despite judicial directions.
In September the court told DG Muhammad Ali Randhawa to implement PCL removal orders by the next hearing.
Immigration officials said the matter was before a review committee; the judge questioned that as a reason for delay.
The case involves petitioner Wajahat Hussain, whose name the court had ordered removed from the PCL.
