JUI-F asks the Senate to revoke KP governor's rule
Senator Kamran Murtaza's resolution says the KP governor rule proclamation lacks the president's constitutional satisfaction under Article 232 and should be revoked at once.
JUI-F Senator Kamran Murtaza has submitted a Senate resolution against governor's rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The resolution says the president's satisfaction under Article 232 was missing and that the proclamation appeared mechanical.
It asks the president and the federal government to revoke the proclamation immediately, before a 10-day parliamentary approval period ends.
The text, citing Articles 232 and 234, also asks that the proclamation be declared outside the Constitution.
