Khawaja Asif urges the nation to stand with the armed forces against terrorism
The defence minister told the National Assembly on Wednesday that Pakistan's security and survival must come before political interests, and asked the nation to stand with the state and the armed forces.
Khawaja Asif told the National Assembly on Wednesday that the nation should stand with the state and the armed forces against terrorism.
He said Pakistan's security and survival must come before political interests.
He said the armed forces are making sacrifices, particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and that the provincial government must fully support them.
He criticised the PTI over its past, said talks had not produced an agreement, and questioned its record in the province.
He said the country should focus on terrorism rather than the release of a political leader.
