Kundi says forces replied to Afghan Taliban border attack
Speaking in Peshawar after a medical college convocation, the KP governor said anyone who crosses the border or challenges Pakistan’s sovereignty will face a firm reply.
KP Governor Faisal Karim Kundi said the Afghan Taliban tried to attack Pakistan and that security forces retaliated with a fitting response.
He said there would be no compromise on Pakistan’s sovereignty and likened the warning to Pakistan’s past response to India.
He spoke in Peshawar after the seventh convocation of Khyber Girls Medical College, where 171 MBBS and nine postgraduate degrees were awarded.
Separately, he ordered a working paper on KP’s energy issues with the federation and restated a province-wide drive against encroachments.
