Lahore air quality index today hits 294 amid Punjab smog

Lahore air quality index today is listed at 294 as Multan hits 434 and Gujranwala 347, with farm smoke and cooler winter air thickening Punjab’s smog.

Lahore’s Air Quality Index (AQI) reading is 294 as winter weather brings thicker smog.

Multan recorded the highest particulate reading at 434; Gujranwala stood at 347.

AQI levels above 200 were also noted in Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalpur, Faisalabad and Sialkot.

Cooler air, low-grade diesel fumes and seasonal crop-burning smoke are linked to the haze.
