ATC clears Abdullah in Lahore CTD explosive material case

An anti-terrorism court in Lahore freed Abdullah on Friday after finding the Counter-Terrorism Department's 2025 explosives case too weak to prove beyond reasonable doubt.

Lahore ATC Judge Shahid Sikandar acquitted Abdullah on Friday in an alleged explosive material recovery case.

Defence lawyers Ghalib Shamsi and Salma Iqbal said Abdullah had no such links and no explosives were recovered.

Abdullah was brought from jail to court for the verdict announcement.
