The Lahore High Court on Friday disposed of Shehryar Khan's petition against detention orders for his mother, Aleema Khan, and driver Muhammad Ameer.
Justice Abher Gul Khan expressed satisfaction with a report from the Punjab Home Department.
The department said representations had already been filed and that an appellate authority would decide them under the law.
The Associated Press of Pakistan did not report any order releasing Aleema Khan or Muhammad Ameer.
