Lahore High Court filings seek medicine for Khan sisters

Relatives have asked the Lahore High Court to allow meetings and medicines for Aleema Khan, Noreen Niazi and Uzma Khan, detained for 30 days.

Kasim Khan says he and his brother have had no contact with Imran Khan for more than six months and do not know his state of health.

He says Aleema Khan, Noreen Niazi and Uzma Khan are still detained, with no update to family or lawyers on their condition or the reasons.

Relatives filed Lahore High Court applications seeking meetings and medicines; the papers say medicines were allowed only once.

The sisters were held for 30 days before PTI's September 27 protest. On September 24 the court declined to suspend the detention orders immediately.
