Lahore-Sialkot-Kharian-Rawalpindi motorway vowed this term
In Jhelum, Bilal Azhar Kayani tied the Lahore-Sialkot-Kharian-Rawalpindi motorway pledge to SME support and pressed local traders to copy Sialkot’s chamber playbook.
Bilal Azhar Kayani said the Lahore-Sialkot-Kharian-Rawalpindi motorway will be finished within the current government’s term.
He spoke while swearing in new office-holders of Jhelum’s chamber of commerce.
He asked the chamber for a full industrial plan and said he would return in one month to review it.
A Jhelum business team is to visit Sialkot’s chamber to study how it works.
He said SMEDA’s board has been freshly formed and linked the push to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s focus on smaller firms.
