Ali Haider: LPG sales stop Nov 16 over pricing dispute
LPG Marketers Association senior vice chairman Ali Haider said a nationwide sales halt begins November 16, warning a new government formula could lift prices by 25 to 30 percent.
LPG associations have announced a nationwide sales strike from 16 November.
The action targets the government’s new LPG price-setting formula.
Ali Haider, senior vice chairman of the LPG Marketers Association, said sales will stop across the country.
He said the formula could raise LPG prices by 25 to 30 percent.
Related associations jointly rejected the mechanism at an emergency meeting.
