The Mansehra AC attack in Nowshera left Adil Waseem hurt after gunmen fired on his official vehicle in Panah Kot; hospital staff said he is stable.
Mansehra Assistant Commissioner Adil Waseem was injured on Saturday when unknown gunmen fired on his official vehicle in Nowshera’s Panah Kot area.
He was travelling back from his native village Saleh Khana when the attack took place, Nowshera police said.
Lady Reading Hospital spokesperson Muhammad Asim said Waseem was stable and under treatment.
Nowshera DPO Sonia Shamroz said the area was cordoned off, a search was launched, a team was formed to arrest the attackers, and a case was registered.
