Mohammad Rizwan domestic cricket return set for Monday
Former Pakistan captain Mohammad Rizwan’s domestic cricket return may see him captain bottom-placed SNGPL against KRL in Rawalpindi, after sources say the Pakistan Cricket Board cleared him to play.
Mohammad Rizwan is expected to return to domestic cricket on Monday if his availability is confirmed.
He may captain SNGPL against KRL in a President’s Trophy Grade-I match at the Shoaib Akhtar Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi.
Sources say the Pakistan Cricket Board has allowed him to feature; PCB officials have not publicly confirmed it.
He was earlier barred from first-class cricket amid an NCCIA probe over alleged online betting, and has kept training in Peshawar.
SNGPL sit at the bottom of the table and are close to relegation.
