MQM sets Shahrah-e-Faisal convoy for new provinces on 29 Nov
At a workers’ meeting in Karachi’s PIB Colony, MQM-P chair Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said the party will lead a nationwide push for new provinces and take a convoy toward Shahrah-e-Faisal on 29 November.
MQM Pakistan has announced a nationwide campaign for new provinces and a convoy march toward Shahrah-e-Faisal on 29 November.
Chair Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said Sindh’s urban areas have the strongest case and the greatest need for a new province.
He told workers that once the convoy moves, routes leading to Shahrah-e-Faisal will be blocked.
Farooq Sattar urged more administrative units in all four provinces on administrative, not linguistic, grounds.
Waseem Akhtar said the PIB Colony gathering was only District East’s and that Karachi was rejoining the party.
