Siddiqui calls new administrative units Pakistan's destiny
At a Karachi workers’ convention, the federal education minister and MQM-P chief also urged constitutional referendums on creating new units in Sindh and the other provinces.
MQM-P chairman Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui announced a rally on Sharea Faisal on Nov 29 for new administrative units.
He called for constitutional referendums on new units in Sindh and Pakistan’s three other provinces.
The pitch came at a workers’ convention at KMC Park in PIB Colony, Karachi, attended by many activists including women.
Dr Farooq Sattar said the four-province setup sustains a few political families and criticised PPP rule in Sindh over 18 years.
Senior leader Mustafa Kamal and his close aides did not attend the event.
