NA Secretariat expenses: panel details due within 10 days
NA Secretariat expenses for parliamentary panels are now under scrutiny after the Pakistan Information Commission ordered answers to 13 pending questions.
The Pakistan Information Commission ordered the NA Secretariat to answer questions 2 to 14 within 10 days.
The questions cover spending, travel allowances and perks of standing committee members and chairpersons.
Journalist Saddia Mazhar filed her request on June 21, 2026, and appealed on July 5, 2026.
The secretariat had submitted replies, but the appellant said 13 questions remained unanswered.
The commission scheduled implementation proceedings for November 19 to review compliance.
