Sadiq issues production orders for two detained PTI lawmakers
Sardar Ayaz Sadiq ordered that Sanaullah Khan Masti Khel and Dawar Khan Kundi, held by Punjab police, be brought to sittings, as the Centre has put Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under emergency and governor's rule.
NA Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq issued production orders on Wednesday for two detained PTI MNAs, Sanaullah Khan Masti Khel and Dawar Khan Kundi.
The orders were issued under Rule 108 of the National Assembly's rules of procedure and cover the session summoned by President Asif Ali Zardari on October 13.
The two members are in Punjab police custody and must be produced at the start of each sitting in Islamabad, then returned to custody.
PTI had sought orders for nine detained MNAs; the speaker has acted on two names so far.
The move follows the federal government's imposition of emergency and governor's rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Sunday.
