National Savings raises Rs600bn by mid-October, eyes Rs1.53trn
The Central Directorate of National Savings says it met its July–15 October mobilisation goal and is pursuing a Rs1.53 trillion annual target for fiscal year 2026-27.

Officials link recent performance to reforms, better service and easier access to products.
Expanding Shariah-compliant savings options remains a stated priority for CDNS.
Past years show large mobilisation targets, including Rs1.742 trillion raised in FY 2023-24.
