Karachi girl, 13, saved from dark web-linked network by NCCIA

Officials say the girl was told to poison a cat and then harm herself, and investigators reached her before she could carry out the second task.

The NCCIA rescued a 13-year-old girl in Karachi from an online network that allegedly gave her dangerous tasks.

Intelligence from an international agency traced IP addresses used in 13 countries, Pakistan included.

The girl's parents had not known about the contact, and no arrests have been announced as the probe continues.
