NTC pharmaceutical duty of 9.03% on China Alu Alu Foil

The National Tariff Commission set a provisional 9.03% anti-dumping duty on China-origin Alu Alu Foil pharmaceutical packaging.
The levy covers Cold Forming Foil and Tropical Foil under PCT codes 7607.1990 and 7607.2000 for four months.
Zenith Packages Industries of Lahore triggered the probe, opened on 23 July 2026 under the Anti-Dumping Duties Act, 2015.
NTC chose an injury-margin rate rather than the full dumping margin, saying 9.03% is enough to address harm.
A final determination is required within 180 days of the preliminary notice; hearings may be sought within 15 days.
