Buraq Urdu AI model to keep Pakistani data within the country

Buraq is meant to handle Urdu and other regional languages, and the government has committed $1 billion for AI work through 2030.

Pakistan's IT and Telecom Minister Shaza Fatima Khawaja announced Buraq, an Urdu AI model, on October 22.
