Pakistan IT exports hit $435mn, second-highest ever
September’s $435 million haul sat just $2 million below the December 2025 peak, while first-quarter ICT earnings topped $1.24 billion with a large trade surplus.
Pakistan’s ICT export remittances were $435 million in September 2026, per the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB).
The figure was the second-highest monthly total on record, $2 million below the $437 million peak in December 2025, Adviser to the Finance Minister Khurram Schehzad said.
Year-on-year growth was reported at about 18–19%, with a roughly 10% rise from August.
July–September ICT exports totalled about $1.25 billion, with PSEB citing a $1.04 billion trade surplus for the quarter.
Officials linked the rise to budget incentives, wider market access and a stronger digital economy.
